Mung TV
Mung Although it's difficult to understand the point of the story, if there is any, Mung TV is still entertaining. The scope of the vignettes used is interesting and one never knows what will happen next. Much exposure is given to a few regular characters, like Myra Hindley, a woman with a British accent trapped in a satellite. Much of the emphasis is on reality television. From it's juxtaposition with the commercial, one could ascertain that Mung is trying to reflect on the quality of stuff found in television monitors. Who knows?
The breadth of animation styles used for this project is refreshing. Mung is a great animator and he uses many tricks to get his message across. For example, in the first vignette, he uses a subjective camera to follow the woman in the peeping keyhole. Mung has extensive lip sync animation that's carefully assembled. Dialogues and the music are very important in this project as they help understanding what's happening.
