    Justice Fly #1 Alien Ant
    Creators: Darrin Stephens
    Length: 2 minutes
    Watch The Cartoon

Justice Fly is the first Webisode of a series featuring the super hero insect, Justice Fly. In this episode, Justice Fly's opponent, Dirt Worm emerges from the prison from which he was banished by the hero with a new secret weapon. The secret weapon can disable Justice Fly's powers and allow the villain to reach his evil goa. Will Justice Fly prevail against his arch nemesis?

One unfortunate aspect of this Flash cartoon is that it is steeped right in the traditional super hero genre. That in itself is not much of an issue. What is an issue is that Stephens borrows his sense of timing from comic books. It looks odd. Scenes last way too long as characters recite long monologues. Shots seem pieced together without any regards for how the whole feels.

Whereas the pacing of the story is completely off, the strong visual work, typical of a comic book artist is displayed prominently throughout the project. The character's designs are complex and the backgrounds detailed. Again, borrowing such design convention from the field of comic books slows the narrative, as there is far too much visual information in the characters, especially Justice Fly.
