Decline of Video Gaming is set in the year 2059. Three video game fans go into a store and look at the latest releases from popular titles such as Zelda and Tomb Raider. Because most of the games are, by that time sequels of sequels, the guys feel dissatisfied with the offerings and long for better days, when games were much better. What has gone wrong with gaming? Can it recover?

Every time the guys reminisce about a game, a flashback sequence starts, where we see a parodied version of the game and what's wrong with it. The story's editing is off. For example, though there's a skip intro button for the prologue and although the creators already shortened it, it's too long. The creators spend too much time over explaining their jokes, making them flat.

The animation is not spectacular. Still, the animators tried to change their style for the design of each flashback sequence. They reuse much of the camera shots with the gaming critics constantly without any dynamism. Because the project is so long, after a while, one will tire of watching the same set up. Although subtle, the animators overused the film grain effect.
