Karma Ghost is a tale about how we generate bad karma and how this can come back to haunt us at the least likely moment. It assumes that any act we make, attracts either good or bad. In the cartoon, little ghosts represent bad karma. They try to catch up to Pete as he goes about his daily routine. Too bad the cartoon didn't show how one could get rid of all those little bad karma ghosts.

The story is long, and almost becomes repetitive. How many ghosts must Pete assemble before we get the point? It's not that Pete is a jerk. The point is probably to show the viewer what the addition of a series of bad acts can do to one's luck. Nevertheless, using little ghosts to visualize how bad karma works is very creative and drives the point clearly. Let's pay attention to those around us.

Karma Ghost's animation is odd, yet so stylish that's it's endearing. The focus is not so much on the quality of movements and motion, but more on the story and the little ghosts that follow Pete around. For example, when Pete walks, he slides. In another project, this would be annoying. In this cartoon, it becomes charming. Of course, all the angular design fit the project.
